<p>Today we are going to pit to potential netbooks against each other in head to head combat for your purchasing pleasure. That way you can make an informed decision about which of these models is right for you. Lets meet our first contender:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZQU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZQU">Toshiba NB305-N600</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZQU" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZQU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZQU">Toshiba NB305-N600</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZQU" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> is the cheaper of the two models, coming in at $425.00. It sports an Intel Atom N550 processor that runs are a speed of 1.5 GHz. The hard drive is 250GB and comes equipped with a TOSHIBA Hard Drive Impact Sensor that is designed to help cushion short drops. The systems screen is 10.1 inch, with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The battery can last up to 8 hours and 21 minutes. The operating system is Windows 7 Starter 32-bit. Now, lets take a look at its competitor.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004V93ME2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B004V93ME2">ASUS 1215N-PU27-SL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004V93ME2" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004V93ME2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B004V93ME2">ASUS 1215N-PU27-SL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004V93ME2" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> is a bit more expensive at $484.03. It comes with an Intel Dual Core Atom D525 processor, and a 500GB hard drive. The screen is 12.1 inch, and comes in with an HD resolution of 1366x768. The battery life is about 6 hours, and the operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium.</p>
<p>So, which one is the winner in our little competition? Usually I would tell you that it depends on your need, but in this case just go with the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004V93ME2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B004V93ME2">ASUS 1215N-PU27-SL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004V93ME2" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. For the less than $70 difference you get a faster process, a bigger hard drive and a bigger screen with better graphics. Yes, the battery life is a little less, but you can always plug in to finish up your work. This just goes to show you how netbooks in the same price range can vary wildly in their offerings.</p>

<p>Today two netbooks are going to go head to head for your pleasure. After the bought is over you can see which netbook has the right stuff to make it worthy of a space inside your home, backpack or your life in general.</p>
<p>Let's meet our first contender: The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051OLL1M/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B0051OLL1M">HP Mini 210-3060NR</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B0051OLL1M&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Price: $299.99</p>
<p>This system is sporting an Intel® Atom N455 Processor, which is reliable and shows up in a number of netbook models. It has 250GB of hard drive, and a<br />
10.1" display with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The operating system is Windows® 7 Starter (32-bit). It weighs roughly three pounds.</p>
<p>Now, our second combatant: The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPQ">Toshiba NB505-N508BN</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPQ&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Price: $264.99</p>
<p>This system is also sporting the Intel Atom N455 processor and 250GB of memory. It has a 10.1display with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The operating system is also Windows 7 Starter 32-bit. The system has a measured battery life of 8 hours, 21 minutes. This system also weighs about three pounds.</p>
<p>The Bout</p>
<p>You can probably see the issue here already, can't you? These systems are so similar that they probably could have been made in the same factory, on the same day. The only real difference is the name on (and color of) the case. So, how do you decide when they are both equally matched?</p>
<p>That one is easy. You go with the price point. Our second contender is about $30 cheaper than the first one. Save your $30 for a nice meal out and buy number two. The bottom line is that both of these netbooks are a good choice for professionals and students who aren't too in love with their HD media to see straight and choosing the less expensive one makes the best sense in this case.

<p>It is that time again. Two netbooks will go head-to-head for your time, attention and buying power in an epic struggle of the statistics. Today's bout will be between the Toshiba NB505-N508OR and the Acer Aspire One 722-BZ197. Now, lets get to know the contestants better.</p>
<p>In this corner is the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZQA/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZQA">Toshiba NB505-N508OR</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZQA&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. It sports an Intel Atom processor N455 processor, a beefy 250GB hard drive a 10.1 screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and Windows 7 as its operating system. It also features three USB ports.</p>
<p>Cost: $258.98</p>
<p>Now, onto the next contender, The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050JRYAU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B0050JRYAU">Acer Aspire One 722-BZ197</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B0050JRYAU&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. It sports a AMD Dual-Core Processor C-50 with a 250GB hard drive and also uses Windows 7 as its operating system. This machine features at multi-in-one card reader.</p>
<p>Cost: $298.30</p>
<p>Which one do I want?</p>
<p>Well, as you can see these machines are, on the whole, fairly comparable. They have a lot of the same features, the same amount memory and a processors that will preform similarly. In a case like this it all comes down to price. Why pay $40 more for tablets that are similar? I can't think of any good reason, unless you really need the built in card reader that is. In this case the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZQA/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZQA">Toshiba NB505-N508OR</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZQA&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> is really the more pragmatic choice.</p>
<p>Of course you are free to make your own choices. Some people who have had a very good (or a very bad) experience with a brand may prefer to stick with that brand (or avoid it like the black death) in their future purchases. So go ahead and buy the one that makes the best sense to you.

<p>Today, we are going to talk about the steal that is the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPG">Toshiba NB505-N508BL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPG&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. Coming in at $264.15 (retail on Amazon, of course) this netbook is enough of a machine to meet the needs of the majority of end users without breaking their budgets too.</p>
<p>Lets talk about the system and take a peek at the power under the hood. The processor on the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPG">Toshiba NB505-N508BL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPG&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> is an Intel Atom processor N455 running at a speed of 1.66 GHz. While the memory backing you up is only 250GB when you consider that this is a netbook and not a laptop this number is really quite reasonable. After all you can always expand with a USB drive or storage on the cloud.</p>
<p>Now lets took at the screen. It is a fairly standard 10.1-inch in size, with a resolution of 1024 x 600, which is fairly good. It is not exactly HD, but it is pretty close when you consider that anything over 1080 is considered to be high definition. This machine is more than ready to meet your streaming media needs.</p>
<p>The OS is Windows 7 Starter 32-bit, so most users will not have much of a learning curve and with a battery life of more than eight hours you will be able to get out a full workday. Since the total system weight comes in at less than three pounds all is well if you have to carry the machine all day.

<p>We've talked about the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPG">Toshiba NB505-N508BL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPG&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> before, but that was before, now we are going to look at it as a budget model and suffice it to say that that there is a lot to love here. The tablet comes in at only $268, which is a good price for a tablet PC, but when you consider that this is an Amazon best seller you can see how you are really getting quite a good bargain for your cash.</p>
<p>This system has a N455 Intel Atom processor that runs at a speed of 1.66 GHz, which can give you most of the speed that you need. The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPG">Toshiba NB505-N508BL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPG&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> also has a 250 GB hard drive on tap, which means that you will have more than enough storage space that you will need on a netbook.</p>
<p>While the screen is not exactly what you would call high definition, with a screen resolution coming in at 1024 x 600, it is still pretty darn good. You would not be disappointed by this option at all. You will be able to enjoy all of your streaming media from sites such as Hulu without any problems at all.</p>
<p>The battery life comes in at about eight hours, which is a full work day and not bad at all for a netbook battery. Its total weight comes in at 2.9 pounds, which is not too heavy, but you will still need a bag if you want to be happy.

<p>There are a lot of decent laptops out there and for the most part buying one of them would get you through the next school year. But, you really have to wonder if this is the best choice that you can make? After all, this isn't 1995, you have a lot of choices that you can look at when you are making your back to school technology purchases. One of your options is a netbook.</p>
<p><strong>Weight </strong></p>
<p>A netbook is lighter to carry around. At the first blush it may not sound like a big different. After all a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BNHM0C/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B000BNHM0C">MacBook Pro </a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B000BNHM0C&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> can weigh 5.6 pounds, while its netbook oriented cousin the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CWHZP4/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B005CWHZP4">MacBook Air</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B005CWHZP4&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> is only 2.96 pounds, and that is nearly half the weight. When you have to carry it around all day those few pounds can really add up. Since no one enjoys shoulder aches this is a good thing.</p>
<p><strong>Price </strong></p>
<p>The cost of these systems are usually lower than the cost of a laptop. There are several great netbooks that are powerful enough to get you through the school year, without breaking your budget. Lets look at some of them:<br />
•	<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UR16ES/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004UR16ES">Acer Aspire One AO722-BZ454 11.6-Inch HD Netbook</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004UR16ES&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> $292.83<br />
•	<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPG">Toshiba NB505-N508BL 10.1-Inch Netbook</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPG&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> $268.00<br />
•	<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPQ">Toshiba NB505-N508BN 10.1-Inch Netbook</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPQ&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> $264.99<br />
You'll notice that they all have something in common, they are under $300. When you compare that to a typical laptop, say the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0054QJ2BS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B0054QJ2BS">Toshiba Satellite L755-S5271</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B0054QJ2BS&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />, which is almost $500.00, you can see how a netbook quickly becomes the option for a cash strapped student or frugal parent.</p>

<p>We all know that sometimes what is popular is not right. After all, anyone with a web connection can see the horrible makeup and fashion that was in style in the 1980, and the amazing popularity of Jersey Shore is a mystery to right minded people everywhere. In some cases however getting what is popular is a good thing. Users in the technology market however may be a good indication of what devices you want to buy and which ones you want to pass on by. After all, no one wants to buy a less than stellar device and they share their experience with their family, friends and co-workers. Those opinions then influence the sales of the devices. So, in this one case you can use popularity as an indicator of which devices you want to consider when you are ready to make your netbook purchase.</p>
<p>Lets take a look at some of the best selling models.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPG">Toshiba NB505-N508BL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPG&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Cost: $268</p>
<p>About the device: This system features and Intel Atom processor N455, a 250GB (5400 RPM) Serial ATA hard disk drive, a 10.1 inch diagonal screen with a resolution quality of 1024 x 600 and a battery with a life of 8 hours, 21 minutes. With those specs at that price you can see how this one took the number one spot in no time at all.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EWEZJC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004EWEZJC">Dell Inspiron Mini 1018</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004EWEZJC&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Cost: $259</p>
<p>About the device: This system is, in a lot of ways, similar to the one listed above. It also has an Intel Atom processor N455, a 250GB hard drive, and a 10.1-inch diagonal screen with a resolution quality of 1024 x 600. The only notable difference is the battery life of the device with this system you will only get six hours of normal battery life from this model and that number is still pretty respectable.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UR16ES/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004UR16ES">Acer Aspire One AO722-BZ454</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004UR16ES&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Cost: $359</p>
<p>About the device: This machine will set you back a little bit more but it has some nice upgrades as well. The processor is a AMD C-Series Processor C-50, which is a solid option that is on par with the Intel offerings (and depending on what reviewer you ask some say it is better for mobile processing) as well as a 250GB SATA hard drive and an ATI Radeon™ HD 6250 graphics processor, with 256MB of memory to back it up. Couple that with the 11 inch screen and seven hours of battery life and you can see how it is a great choice for users with a little bit more cash in your pocket.</p>
<p>So which model will you choose? If one of the top three will not do it for your needs, or your budget you can see a comparison of more models by checking out our <a href="http://www.netbookreviews.com/netbook-comparison/">netbook comparisons page</a> to see a wide range of options that are well suited to your work and play needs.

<p>Going back to school, or off to university for the first time, means that you need a lot of supplies. In the digital age one of the most important things that you can do is buy the right computer, because you are going to be spending a lot of time with that machine. Desktops have their place in the world, but for most students they are not flexible enough. Laptops can be expensive and surprisingly bulky when you have to carry them around all day. Luckily, there is a tool ideally suited to the on the go lifestyle of a student that allows them to not only get their work done wherever they need to but to do it without any added back strain.</p>
<p>Let's take a look at some of your best choices for in back to school netbooks.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZPG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZPG">Toshiba NB505-N508BL</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZPG&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Cost: $269.77</p>
<p>This machine features an Intel Atom processor N455 that runs at a speed of 1.66 GHz, and has 512KB or L2 Cache memory to back it up. The 250GB serial ATA hard disk drive can be expanded with USB or cloud based storage. The screen is a 10.1" with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The operating system in Windows 7, which is good news if you have to worry about the interoperability of your netbook. The battery life is measured at 8 hours, 21 minutes.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004PYD79S/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004PYD79S">Acer Aspire One AOD255E-13492</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004PYD79S&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Cost: $239.99</p>
<p>This machine has similar specs to the one listed above, the Intel Atom N455 Processor, the screen with a with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and the 250 GB hard drive. It does have two advantages. The first is that it is slightly cheaper than the model listed above, and when every penny counts those $30 can be important. The second is that it comes with a version of Microsoft Office, the Microsoft Office Starter 2010 software suite pre-installed. If you have ever had to but MS office in the past you know how expensive it can be, and that free software can be a big cost benefit.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EWEZJC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004EWEZJC">Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 4034CLB</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004EWEZJC&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>
<p>Cost: $299.85</p>
<p>Again, this Dell has very similar specs to the other machines, but it is unique in a very good way. First and foremost it comes with a solid warranty, which is good news if you, or your child, are built for destruction. The second important feature is the Dell DataSafe Online backup storage feature. This system keeps your data in a remote storage site that means no matter what you lose or how much you damage your machine you will not lose that paper you spent all semester working on.</p>
<p>There you have it, your three best choices for back to school netbooks. Enjoy you working on the go.

<p>Taking your<a href="http://www.netbookreviews.com/netbook-games/"> games</a> on the go can be an essential part of getting through your daily train ride to work or surviving that long family reunion weekend. Of course, enjoying your games does not just have to be a way to survive the annoying parts of your daily life. It can just be about getting out there and enjoying your games in the real world. After all playing World of Warcraft is fun but playing it with a freshly made custom Frappucino in your non-mouse using hand is even better. So let's look at some of your best gaming options for netbooks.</p>
<p>The MMORPG Gamer</p>
<p>If you love your MMO's then you need a system that can handle the speed that you need to stream your world as well as a strong graphics offering so that you do not end up finding out that you can not longer run your favorite world once the world updates. Lets look at your options.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004PYD7AC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004PYD7AC">Acer Aspire One AO522-BZ465</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004PYD7AC&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> should definitely be on your shopping list. With a AMD C-Series Processor, 250 GB hard drive and a ATI Radeon HD 6250 Graphics card you should be able to run any MMO that you want without a problem. If Acer is not your brand of choice another solid choice for the MMO gamer is the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00439T1UO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399369&amp;creativeASIN=B00439T1UO">Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 </a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00439T1UO&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399369" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> it features an Intel Atom N455 Single Core 1.66GHz, and Intel® NM10 Express graphics for wide screen HD displays.</p>
<p>The PC Gamer</p>
<p>If you prefer your game to be single player, and to install from a disk or download then your needs are going to a be a little bit different. While you will still need to have the power to process high end graphics but your hard drive space may need to be larger, or at least very expandable in order for you to get what you want. Let's peek at your choices.</p>
<p>Your first go to machine will be the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00472O24C/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399369&amp;creativeASIN=B00472O24C">Samsung NF310-A01</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00472O24C&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399369" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> it gives you HD graphics and while the hard drive has only a standard 250 GB of memory attached it is also expandable without giving up your USB mouse thanks to its multiple USB ports. Users who have this machine to game have reported that even current generation PC titles run very well. At $340 on Amazon this one is a great deal as well.</p>
<p>Another great choice is the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G8QZQU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=otr01-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004G8QZQU">Toshiba NB305-N600</a><img style="border: none !important;margin: 0px !important" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B004G8QZQU&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. Sure, it looks a little funky but with just about nine hours of battery life, an Intel Atom processor N550 and HD graphics this machine will, for $354, make you happy that you bought it. This is also a great choice if you, or the person you plan to give it to, is accident prone since it comes with a hard drive impact sensor that can help it to save itself from your snafus.</p>
