    Samsung expands their netbook lineup

Samsung is expanding it's netbook line with the addition of 3 new models. The announcements come hot on the heels of the release of the NC10 Special Edition earlier this month.

First up we have the Samsung N110 which surprisingly has already been reviewed over at Laptop Mag. The netbook features an Intel Atom N270 processor, 10 inch screen, Windows XP, 160 GB Hard Drive and a 7 hour battery life. The price comes in at a fairly steep $469 (for that price you should just pick up an Asus Eee PC 1000HE in my opinion).

Next we have up the Samsung N120 which is also a 10 inch netbook featuring again an Atom N270 processor, Windows XP and 6 cell battery. However, the main difference between the N120 and it's little brother the N110 is the full keyboard they managed to fit in the chassis.

Finally we have the Samsung N310 which is the sleekest design of them all. The LCD and frame are flush with each other and the rounded edges give it a nice clamshell feel. The processor has not been announced yet other than that it will be an Intel Atom (surprise). It also features a 1GB RAM, 160GB HD, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, WiBRO, Bluetooth 2.0, 3-in-1 card reader, 1.3MP camera, 3 USB ports and chiclet styled keyboard.

What I've found most surprising by these announcements is that the design styling is different in every single model. Specifically moving from the N110 to the N120 they look like entirely different machines. The N110 looks like a step brother sitting next to the N120. Unfortunately there is no US price or release date announced as of yet; however, if you can't wait for the new models to release stateside you can read the Samsung NC10 review here to see if that netbook will fit your needs. When more details are available on these new netbooks I'll be certain to let you know.
