<p>The best part about the ASUS Eee PC 1005PR and why it's so anticipated is the fact that it combines two things rarely (if ever) seen in a 10 inch netbook:</p>
<p>1. 1366 x 768 high resolution screen (usually it's 1024 x 600)<br />
2. Broadcom Crystal HD Accelerator for HD video playback / gaming</p>
<p>Many 12 inch netbooks don't even have that high of a resolution screen. Combine that with the fact that it gets an estimated 11 hour battery life and coming in at <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FZC1K4?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B003FZC1K4">just under $400</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B003FZC1K4" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> you can see why this is exciting. I don't need to buy another netbook right now but I just may sell my ASUS Eee PC 1008HA and upgrade to this one.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FZC1K4?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B003FZC1K4">See the ASUS Eee PC 1005PR at Amazon</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B003FZC1K4" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /></p>

<p>I spent some time testing the Lenovo S10-3t while I was at CES in January so hop on over to my <a href="http://www.netbookreviews.com/lenovo-s10-3t/">hands on impressions</a> to check it out. What I find odd is that the Lenovo S10-3 netbook still hasn't started shipping yet:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0032ALW52?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B0032ALW52"><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B0032ALW52" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /><img src="http://www.netbookreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/Lenovo-S10-3-still-not-shipping.gif" alt="" title="Lenovo-S10-3-still-not-shipping" width="574" height="105" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2448" border="0" /></a></p>
<p>In fact, the shipping time on Lenovo.com shows 16 business days for the Lenovo S10-3t and "Ships in more than 4 weeks" for the Lenovo S10-3. I'm surprised that the tablet started shipping sooner than the netbook because with other manufacturers I've seen the opposite. </p>

<p>No image up on the website yet, but when the netbooks show up like this the images are usually up the next day. Here are the specs:</p>
<p>CPU: 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270<br />
Display: 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixels<br />
OS: Windows XP Home<br />
Memory: 1GB (max: 1GB)<br />
Storage: 160GB, 2.5″ 5400rpm<br />
Connectivity: 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet<br />
I/O: VGA, headphone, mic, 3 USB, SD card slot<br />
Webcam: 0.3MP<br />
Speakers: 1.5 W x 1<br />
Battery: 6 cell, 4000mAh<br />
Dimensions: 10.7″ x 7.4″ x 1.17″<br />
Weight: 2.82 pounds</p>
<p>I'm a little surprised by the weaker .3 megapixel webcam but when it comes to webcam's it's not like you're filming any movies with them and as long as Samsung sticks to it's roots the netbook will also have an amazing battery life too. If you're interested in Samsung netbooks be sure to browse the <a href="http://www.netbookreviews.com/samsung/">Samsung netbook</a> review section.</p>

In fact many would not call this a netbook, but because it blurs the lines and is an overall great machine (on paper) I thought it would be worth mentioning to you (keep reading for full specs):</p>
<p><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LEXA64?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002LEXA64"><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002LEXA64" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /><img src="http://www.netbookreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/Acer-Aspire-AS1410-Sale.gif" alt="Acer-Aspire-AS1410-Sale" title="Acer-Aspire-AS1410-Sale" width="590" height="228" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1181" border="0" /></a></p>
<p>Full specs:</p>
<p>    * <strong>1.4GHz Intel Core2 Solo ULV SU3500 Processor</strong><br />
    * <strong>2 GB DDR2 667MHz Memory</strong><br />
    * <strong>250GB SATA Hard Drive</strong><br />
    * Acer Crystal Eye Webcam, Intel WiFi Link 5100 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N, 1 HDMI port<br />
    * Windows Vista Home Premium (SP 1), 6-cell Li-ion Battery (4400 mAh)<br />
    * 11.6" HD WXGA Acer CrystalBrite LED-backlit Display, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD<br />
    * Size (LWH): 8.03 inches, 11.22 inches, 1.18 inches<br />
    * Weight: 3.08 pounds</p>
<p>I've highlighted the 3 specs that make this "lapbook" (see what I did there?) stand out from the competition. First, it features a 1.4 GHz Intel Core2 Solo ULV processor which is similiar to the Atom line in that it draws low power, but not as little as the Atom does. It also has 2 GB of RAM pre-installed so there should be little reason to upgrade. Overall it looks great on paper especially considering the price.</p>
<p>You can pick it up in three color choices all for the price of $449.99. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LEXA64?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002LEXA64">Sapphire Blue is currently in stock</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002LEXA64" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> while <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LEVGMO?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002LEVGMO">Black shows up as on pre-order</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002LEVGMO" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> and <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LF10GA?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002LF10GA">Ruby Red as temporarily out of stock</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002LF10GA" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />. The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GCR04Y?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002GCR04Y">Asus Eee PC T91 is available for $499.99 on Amazon</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002GCR04Y" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GCR04Y?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002GCR04Y">Asus Eee PC T91</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002GCR04Y" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> is an 8.9 inch tablet netbook and the very first of it's kind so it's very exciting to see it finally available. Now do I really need my <a href="http://www.netbookreviews.com/asus-eee-pc-1008ha-review/">Asus Eee PC 1008HA</a> and a tablet netbook? I just might...</p>
<p>The full specs are listed below:</p>
<p>    * Intel Atom Z520 Processor 1.33GHz<br />
    * 1GB DDR2 RAM, 1 x SODIMM Slot, 2GB Max.<br />
    * 16GB Solid State Drive, Plus a Free 16GB SD Card and 20GB Free Eee Storage<br />
    * Windows XP Home Operating System, 8.9-inch Touch LCD Display<br />
    * Comes with the Asus Exclusive TouchSuite: a Finger Friendly and Intuitive Touch User Interface. Free T91 Sleeve Case Included<br />
    * Size (LWH): 8.86 inches, 6.46 inches, 1.12 inches<br />
    * Weight: 4 pounds</p>
<p>The only aspect I'm a little disappointed with is the Intel Atom Z520 processor. I prefer the extra oomph offered by the Intel Atom N270 or N280 series. Other than that I'm pleased with the spec list.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GCR04Y?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=otr01-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B002GCR04Y">Buy the Asus Eee PC T91 for $499.99</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=otr01-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002GCR04Y" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /></p>
<p>Will you pick it up?
