Netbooks on Sale
We've hit the weekend again so it's time for another post highlighting great deals on the best netbooks. Here are my top picks:
Lenovo S10-2 6 Hours of Battery Life $285.77
Specs: Windows 7 Starter, Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive (see full specs)
This is the Lenovo netbook that was out before the S10-3 and at only $285.77 with Windows 7 starter, it's a pretty dang good deal if you don't need the latest and greatest netbook.
ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1001P 11 Hours of Battery Life $299.99
Specs: Windows XP Home, Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive (see full specs)
Note: LaptopMag just did a review on this netbook and claimed the netbook has retaken the budget crown of netbooks under $300 (see it here). I also really liked this model when I saw it at CES in early January, so if you're looking for an inexpensive netbook this model is certainly among the best.
Acer AOD250-1689 9 Hours of Battery Life $275.31
Specs: Windows 7 Starter, Intel Atom N280 1.66 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive (see full specs)
This is another older generation netbook, but again you're able to get solid performance along with Windows 7 starter, 9 hours of battery life and all for just $275.31. If you want to get something using the latest an greatest specs, check out this next netbook deal below.
ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE-PU17-BU 14 Hours of Battery Life $366.16
Specs: Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard drive, Windows 7 starter (see full specs
My mother in law just purchased this netbook and she loves it. As soon as I'm able to pry it from her hands for an afternoon I'll try and do a quick review (unless ASUS beats her to the punch and sends me the model first).
