    Netbook Deals Weekend Edition

Now that we're moving into the holiday season, I've had some readers contact me requesting more deal posts to be written on the website so that people can snag their netbook at the best price possible, so to satisfy those requests I'll be featuring more netbook deal posts on the site during this time of the year:

Asus Eee PC 1005HA Win XP

    Windows XP Netbook Deals:
    ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X 10.1-Inch Netbook $356.97
ASUS Eee PC 1008HA Seashell 10.1-Inch Netbook - 6 Hour Battery Life $353.30 (lowest I've ever seen on a 1008HA)
    Samsung N110-12PBK 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 6 Cell Battery (9.5 Hours) $313.24

    Windows 7 Netbook Deals:
HP Mini 110 Series 10.1-Inch Netbook (8 Hours of Battery Life, Windows 7 Starter) $349.99
Acer AOD250 Series 10.1-Inch Netbook - 8 Hours of Battery Life (Windows 7 Starter) $329.99
Toshiba Mini NB205 Series 10.1-Inch Netbook (250GB Hard Drive) $349.99
ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1008HA-MU17 10.1-Inch Netbook - 6 Hours of Battery Life (Windows 7 Starter) $410.99

The netbook deals on Windows XP will eventually end as various models sell out, so if you don't mind Windows XP I suggest you buy a Windows XP netbook if you want to save yourself about 20% on your netbook purchase. As an example, at $353.30 for an Asus Eee PC 1008HA the netbook is $70 less than I bought it for just a few months ago. Compare that to the Windows 7 Home Premium version which costs $476.08 ($410.99 for Windows 7 Starter) and you can get some substantial savings.

What will you buy? A Windows 7 netbook or Windows XP netbook? Or if you already bought a netbook be sure to share your experiences in our netbook forum. You might also want to check out my post on the 7 best netbooks under $300. Lastly, as I mention in almost every post now feel free to contact me for netbook shopping advice. I answer on average 4 - 5 emails a day to help people pick their netbook and I'm happy to do it!
