Last day to save $25 when you pre-order the ASUS EEE PC 1000HE

Today appears to be the last day you can pre-order the ASUS EEE PC 1000HE and save $25. While I was browsing items on Amazon.com the other day I saw a link to the 1000HE that said promo expires on Feb 24th. Unfortunately I didn't take a screen cap so I couldn't show you exactly what I saw; however, if you are thinking about buying this netbook I highly recommend placing your pre-order now just to be sure you get the discount. (There may be a chance that the 24th will be the last day to pre-order but if you've already made your purchase decision - better safe than sorry right?)

A few weeks ago I explained why I pre-ordered the ASUS EEE PC 1000HE and after reading early reviews around the net I'm glad I did. I decided to pick up the black one over the blue one.

Now again if you still don't want to pre-order the netbook until you read more reviews be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed so you can see my hands on impressions and an extensive review that I'll post as soon as it arrives.

Have you already pre-ordered this netbook or did you pick up something else?

*UPDATE* Amazon shows the ASUS EEE PC 1000HE is actually shipping now; however, the price hasn't gone back up to $399 yet. Move now if you want to save $25. I just checked my account and it's showing a March 18th ETA (I pre-ordered the netbook on Feb 6th [black one])
