Instant on BIOS = Fast OS Boot Times
One of the neat features about most Lenovo Netbooks is the Splashtop operating system which boots in seconds and grants you access to common programs like email, skype, internet access etc. but what if you could just boot to your primary operating system in seconds instead? Well, Phoenix has a brand new technology which boots the BIOS in your system in just 1 second! The benefits here are obvious, but so exciting I can't help but point them out:
There are two primary components that factor into the time it takes when you turn on your computer to when you can actually use it; BIOS boot time and Operating System boot time.
