Install Windows 7 on a netbook

For those of you that are pondering whether it's worth the trouble to install the Windows 7 RC on your netbook Gizmodo put together a nifty guide that describes just how to do it.

The Windows 7 Release Candidate 1 is available right now for free. Microsoft intends to offer it through at least July of this year and after that time your install will be usable until early 2010.

If you're unsure of whether you want to work on an RC version of Windows 7, I suggest you download the OS at the very least so that you have a key you can use in case you decide to make the switch. In general everything I've heard about Windows 7 has been surprisingly positive.

Will you take the Windows 7 plunge with your netbook?

      Bought a Lenovo S10-2
      HD crapped out within hours.
As I had planned to expand the system a bit, I went and installed a 320gb HD and Windows 7.

The Windows 7 install was flawless.
Installed in less than an hour with minimal input from me and the netbook and all of its features is running great.
