The article also does a nice job of describing the history of overclocking and shows why Asus began to offer built in overclocking tool via their super hybrid engine. In any case the options mentioned offer ways to boost the front side bus of your netbook and gma booster to improve your graphics (irrelevant on an ION powered netbook) to name a few.

Overclocking a netbook can be dangerous and cause damage to your netbook though so it's not for everyone. Some tactics are more difficult than others as well, but if you're feeling adventurous go ahead and try them out. I suggest you post your results in the netbook forum too.
