Okay, I admit I saw your post and thought the neo-Luddite topic sounded interesting for a netbook forum.
AFAIK, I have never seen or handled nano-silver in any way. I just wanted to draw out your FOE agenda so you could post more. Keep the discussion interesting.
I think it is a real horse race about what will destroy the earth. Nano-silver is a late starter. Disease, the out of balance relationship between naturally occurring organisms and naturally functioning immune systems, has a run at it. Climate change, of course limited by our knowledge of recorded history, may have a real good run. War is a challenger now that we have non-personal weapons. Even random planetary collisions may have a good run at destroying the earth.
Nano-silver laced socks, washing machines and keyboards are going to have to improve their standing to even have a chance to nose out the Big Four horses of destruction. Will I be lucky or unlucky to be alive to see it?
