Default non-netbook

There is certainly a place for ultraportables (screen is diagonally less than 12 inches, weight is 1.7 kg or less); thin-and lights (screen is diagonally from 12 to 14 inches, weight is from 1.8 to 2.8 kg); medium-sized laptops (screen is diagonally from 14 to 15.4 inches, weight is from 3 to 3.5 kg); and desktop replacement computers (screen is diagonally from 17 to 20 inches, weight is 4 to 6 kg). Take your choice.

Various uses such as business/office work; scientific tasks such as 2D/3D graphics with fast processing; creative tasks such as design, music, and audio/video presentations are part of computing life. Gaming and video have a place. Home users, students, power users and multimedia specialists find good computers for their use.

I'm still promoting traditional netbookery with low price and limited resources for email and browsing. Sub-10in is my sweet spot. I'm packing the Asus 901 in my briefcase.
