$399 seems a little pricey especially whenever other companies (particularly HP) offer the same specs (aside from battery life) for $275-$350. Still, it is nice to see that Asus has finally adopted higher resolution screens and HD capable hardware. It took them long enough to release a mainstream netbook with those features. They have a dual-core Atom powered 12" netbook with the Ion platform but it is just too damned expensive and the battery life is abysmal.
Hopefully this starts a trend for Asus. Their netbooks have been pretty good over the years but their hardware (aside from processor and battery life) has been slipping.
