Adobe just added support for the new Broadcom Crystal HD chips used in the Mini 210 HD (and the new Dell Inspiron Mini 10) 2 days ago. Flash 10.1 is now in press release version 3. I uninstalled press release 1 (you must uninstall older versions of Flash before using a press release) and put release 3 on my netbook. HD video playback is actually much smoother than it was back when release 1 came out.

I can now watch 720p videos smoothly and 1080p playback was much smoother. It still isn't perfect but my CPU usage was around 30% for 720p video playback and at 99-100% for 1080p Flash videos. Before, CPU usage was at around 70% for 720p videos and 1080p playback was not a good experience.

So that is good news for you. You should be able to put Flash 10.1 press release 3 by the time HP sends you a Mini 210 HD. HP was never really good when it came to releasing portables with good battery life. That was one negative aspect regarding my Mini 110XP (now it is called the Mini 110-1000 CTU). It has an advertised 6 hours of usage and, even at the time almost a year ago, it wasn't the best.
