Nice review, it was pretty in-depth. It kind of makes me want to get a Toshiba next weekend as Best Buy is selling the white and silver version for $399.

I'm planning to purchase a netbook soon and I'm wondering if anybody has any idea if the Toshiba NB205 is better than the Asus Eee PC 1005HA.

I haven't used this Toshiba but I would go with the Eee PC. It has better specs, comes in a more compact form, and costs less.

Thanks ThisIsNot. ASUS 1005HA-PU1X-BK has been ordered. If I'm lucky I'll have it tomorrow or the next day.

I agree with ThisIsNot. Although Toshiba's netbook is really good, I have tried the NB205 and the Asus Eee PC 1008HA (which is very similar to the 1005HA).

Good choice on the Asus

I just played around with this today in the store and it is a nice machine indeed.
I also got a chance to play with the asus Seashell which is so light and thin, I was in love. J&R has like every netbook you can think of, it was like heaven lol.
