Wow, Sony continues to charge a premium for their netbook. I realize that it comes with 3G access but HP offers a 10" netbook with a 1366X768 resolution for less than $400. I like what you said though:
"Would you pay $599 for a netbook or would you prefer the less expensive model at $468?"

Man, these ultra portable notebooks for $500-$550 are becoming more of an economical solution especially since manufacturers continue to charge a premium for their products (even HP is guilty of this). Does this netbook require a subscription or is it like the iPad?

Default Sony W

I really like the non-3G Sony W but I don't believe the RAM is upgradeable to 2GB and I don't believe it allows a hard drive swap. Can you confirm that? I really get a kick out of the price comments (we all want raises on our jobs LOL) but I'll pass on the W with regret until third quarter this year.
