Default Lenovo S10-3t Hands On

We've seen these swivel designs for over 10 years now...

Did Lenovo give examples of the use-cases? Especially for netbooks which have very poor performance compared to notebooks (so showing software demos is extremely unlikely). It's not touch screen (as far as I know) so what could the swivel functionality possibly be used for?

Think it's cool and slick...but no use for the swivel. Not to mention you couldn't pay me money to walk around with the lcd facing out.

Good work Chris. The reviews are very helpful for people who are trying to evaluate their wants versus their needs especially when they get advice from those who think their own opinion is best for all. You give good balance.

I appreciate that you identify the exact model of computer and which version of W7 is used.

I'm really strong on reliability. The fewer computers needing service makes for a good experience.

When you list prices which people pay at different distribution points, I appreciate that. I like to buy at hands on locations but not at a premium price point. I try to avoid buying options incorrectly. Starter does not do desktop extension while Pro connects to a domain. Both are great if they provide what is needed. BTW I bought three copies of Windows 7 Professional at school to get ready for an eventual switch. I'll upgrade current XP computers when I next buy a 64-bit W7 desktop.

Keep cranking those reviews.

Here is yet another classic example of netbooking rambling and rambling and rambling.

If you want to ramble like this, start your own topic in the GENERAL area...not a reply to a specific review.

Sheeeeeeeez.
