Default Best Selling Netbooks of December

This month's best selling netbook is the Acer AOD250-1197 10 inch netbook with Windows 7 starter. Default Where are you getting your Top 10 list?

Hi Chris...I thought it would be worthwhile for you to post where/what reports you are reading when you determine what are the Top 10 best selling netbooks each month. All your links point to Amazon so I wonder if Amazon is providing you information.

Anyway, I think it's important because, for example, several Asus machines on your December list are identical...except for a different color. Spots 2 and 4...and 5 and 10 are just different colors. To me, 1)each color does not deserve a spot on the Top 10 list and 2)because everything points to Amazon, you are implying you are going (somehow) by Amazon sales...when we all know there are numerous retailers that sell netbooks besides Amazon...what sells well (or poorly) on Amazon may not at all the other retailers...and hence USA numbers of units sold of a particular model may be skewed.

So, a little extra info would be nice.

-Eric

Gizmodo raised that very issue today. Netbooks are driving the market. European numbers are collected by Context if you're interested. My thanks to Chris for reading all the info instead of me.
