This netbook had been tempting me for a while until yesterday. I read a website's review and they didn't care for it. They said that the touchpad is better on the 1008HA and 1005HA Eee PCs. Additionally, they didn't care for the touch applications. They were excited to use them at first but that wore off rather quickly.

It is an affordable tablet for people who are interested in the technology but, just like other companies trying to push their tablets, things kind of fall short. I doubt Windows 7 is going to change things either. People are so used to using a keyboard and mouse/trackpad and I can't say that I blame them. I can type just about as fast as I can write something down on my tablet's screen.

I hope you get one of these to review though. I would like to hear your take on things.

Every time I stop for a car rental, I am impressed how efficiently their touch screen wireless devices work. I just don't have the inventory a tablet would track. My handwriting is not something a computer program would handle well either. Have to pass on this new toy.
