I am having trouble posting, but I'll try to write an intro again...

I'm a semi-retired woman living in Maine with my retired former elementary school principal-husband in Maine where we have a sailboat and live NEAR the water. We are close enough to enjoy it when we want without worry about rising water or storm sweeping us into the sea!

I am a stock photographer who takes photos, uploads and processes them using my laptop. (Dell Studio17). This computer weighs over 7 lbs and I needed something to take to the library where i do my uploading AND to take on our cross-country trip on the Amtrak from Portland, ME to Portland, Oregon to visit our son. I needed something FAR more portable.

So, I bought an MSI Wind U100 a couple of weeks ago and it HAS worked! I needed a machine with an ample drive with some power 'under the hood.' The Wind seemed to foot the bill. We'll hope so! I've taken it on the road once already and it worked just fine!

I am looking forward to reading more about these miraculous little machines here!
