Here's what I found (finally):

Broadcom 43224AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapter

Used the Vista driver and worked fine. Guess either will work. Thanks for the suggestions ThisIsNot.

And just a quick rundown on the capabilities of Ion: I installed Aion (will get to Guild Wars soon) and it runs at 9fps on average in a low-density area. In a high-density area, it would drop to about 3fps on average. I also ran it at max resolution (1366 X 768) and at a lower resolution (1280 X 720) and it ran just the same. Effects and whatnot were all set to minimum. Oddly enough, it ran a lot better yesterday at low-to-medium settings (let the game automatically detect hardware and set settings). I'll continue testing and mess around with some settings. Also, Windows 7 runs beautifully, Aero and all.

Has anyone done any overclocking yet? This is something I have no experience with, so hopefully someone can come along and explain and write up a guide.

People have overclocked the Atom CPU quite a bit. Asus even includes overclocking software to push the N270 and N280 Atom CPUs by about an additionally 200MHz. Any slight increase in performance just isn't worth the extra heat coming off of the processor. Stick to running at the standard clock speeds, don't worry about overclocking. The HP Mini 311 may not have the proper cooling methods in order to overclock either.

9 fps and 3 fps are both terrible. Then again, the ION platform was never meant to be used as a gaming platform and is more geared towards HD media playback.

Default Big Thanks!

I too installed Win7 pro and found all but the n wifi drivers. Calls to HP could not even get the model of the wifi card let alone the drivers. But a "supervisor" will call me back. I'll not be holding my breath.
I installed the softpaq ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp44501-45000/sp44825.exe and it's working great now.
Thanks!

Ah the joys of dealing with customer service. It is a shame that companies no longer pride themselves with having excellent customer care. Now it seems that everyone is just worried about getting their products out the door, they don't care about any customer reactions after that.

It took me about 40 minutes worth of phone calls to get information on what HP was going to do with Windows 7 drivers for the Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator. I heard the same speeches as you guys. First they told me that my Mini 110XP was designed for Windows XP only. I ended up arguing with that person and asked them why HP even bothered to come out with Windows Vista drivers if my netbook was designed for Windows XP only. Then they said that my computer would not be powerful enough to run Windows 7. I sited the minimum Windows 7 system requirements a couple dozen times, that idea finally sank in. Then they had no idea what I was talking about when it came to my Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator. They thought I was talking about the wi-fi adapter as the person I talked to never heard of an HD accelerator.

I finally got transferred to a manager and asked them if HP would ever come out with Windows 7 drivers for the accelerator. He gave me the speeches again, I gave him my answers. After all of that, he finally said "I don't know what HP plans on doing for Windows 7 drivers and your computer."

It might take HP a while to come out with Windows 7 drivers for the 311. They are barely starting to trickle through for the Mini 110XP, give them a few more months. After all, Windows 7 isn't even out yet and companies don't support beta, test, or RC versions of operating systems.
