Bought an HP Netbook on eBay, sketchy looking motherboard with no HD but runs Ubuntu
So I bought an HP 510x series netbook from eBay and figured I could just format it and go on with my life. But apparently it's running some kind of weird motherboard with no SATA connectors and no slots for RAM. It runs Ubuntu I'm pretty sure and I can't seem to get it into recovery mode with esc or shift during boot. I also can't seem to figure out how to get to the BIOS. Does anyone have any ideas what's up with this netbook? Did HP make some of these with built in RAM and SSD? I am so confused right now lol. Any help is appreciated!
Alright so I pulled the case and looked at the motherboard. There is no heatsink for a CPU and where the hard drive SHOULD go on the regular 510x's that spot is instead more board. Here is a picture I found on eBay that I will use to try to describe it. The red line and colored in area is where the hard drive should go but is instead filled in. The red X on the CPU is where my motherboard has a chip instead.
