Default Other OSes Beyond Windows CE6.0?

I recently found a netbook (http://www.tinydeal.com/R001/l8052g05-p-3421.html), where a Windows CE6.0 operating system is built-in. Now I need someone to tell me if such a stuff is also compatible with other OSes, as some of my friends said CE6.0 is not so good. But about what's wrong, they seem not so clear. So please also comment on this OS by the way, if you like.

Well, you (and your friend) would really need to be EXPLICIT about what is compatible/incompatible.

All the Windows flavors are created by Microsoft...so they all, in some shape and form, are going to be compatible...and...in some very rare and specific ways, incompatible.

CE is a platform for handheld devices...period...and has been since I believe about 1999. So probably the only thing CE has in common with generic Windows95/98/ME/XP/Vista is the Start Menu, some graphics, and MS Office basic support.
