Just curious if anyone here has used this OS on their netbooks

Jolicloud

The claim is HD video on some netbooks with comparable specs: Jolicloud adds support for 1080p HD video on Pine Trail netbooks

Thumbs up Jolicloud

Installed Jolicloud on Saturday-6/3/2010-seems to work fine.No probs so far with my display settings, audio drivers, etc. Was a bit reluctant at first, being a Pre-Beta release, but as I like a challenge I took the plunge. Will update on my final thoughts, after a few days of "testing".
One thing did make me smile though,on the "pull-down" list of Netbook/Notebook models available to "accept" Jolicloud,my model was not listed (I think I had to give the closest make and model to mine? (sorry guys )but my model is a HP Compaq 2510p Notebook (64bit).
I like the idea that I could download and install the 15 Meg Exe file direct onto my desktop (Windows 7),and let Jolicloud do the rest.Having used other linux distro's for a few years, this is something new-no live disc.Yes you can install via a USB Drive,if already using Linux-so after a little reading I decided to go ahead.I believe a "Final" Edition will appear soon. And at the moment,Jolicloud is "free".If it becomes popular and sucessfull,a fee will probably be charged.

Default Using Jolicloud Pre-Beta full time

After nearly a week of using Jolicloud, dual booted with Windows 7,I have now installed Jolicloud "full-time" on my Notebook, and it works a treat. As the old adage goes,it does exactly what it says on the tin.
I installed via the USB route, after following very simple instructions-in my previous post I said USB install was for Linux, well,I misread, and you can use this route if you have Windows also.I just used a spare 4gig USB Memory Stick, installed Jolicloud on to it and voila.I was up and running.I must admit I have no guilty feelings about zapping Windows 7 from my Notebook,as I have it on my desktop pc,and having used linux for a few years,it was no big deal for me.I especially like the power icon next to the WiFi icon which allows you to adjust your Netbook/Notebook power settings.
