The ISPS Handa Women\'s Australian Open, taking place from February 9 - 12, will bring professional women\'s golf to the storied course for the first time in its 120-year history, while also marking the LPGA\'s return to Australia for the first time in 12 years.
The women are set to face virtually the same test that the men did in the Presidents Cup back in November, as they\'ll also be playing the Composite layout at Royal Melbourne, made up of 12 holes from the West Course and six from the East.
Individually, each course is ranked in the top 100 courses globally, but the composite

is considered one of the world\'s 10 best.
Only one hole will be substantially different to the Presidents CUp layout, the 16th (4th East). The front nine\'s order remains unchanged, but the back nine has been changed in order for the famous 18th hole to revert to its classic finishing position.
Golf Australia\'s Director - Championships, Trevor Herden, after setting up each hole based on the shot in to the greens, reckons the course will be a great test for the ladies, while a mix of men\'s and women\'s tees are sure to bring the bunkers into play
