Hank Haney has hit back at his former pupil Tiger Woods\' suggestion that his decision to write a book about him is \"unprofessional\".
Haney, who spent a very successful six years from 2004 to 2010 working alongside Tiger as his

\"I think it\'s unprofessional and very disappointing,\" Woods said, \"especially because it\'s someone I worked with and trusted as a friend.
\"There have been other one-sided books about me and I think people understand that this book is about money. I\'m not going to waste my time reading it.(

\"I just think this book is very self-serving.\"
Haney, speaking to Ed Sherman of Chicagobusiness.com, said the book was merely an attempt to explain what it is like to coach someone like Tiger.
\"I feel like it is a fair and honest book,\" said Haney. \"I know he said it is \"unprofessional.\" I don\'t know how you can make a comment like that without reading the book. I think I had an opportunity to write an unprofessional book, but I don\'t think I did. I feel like I wrote a fair and honest book.\"(

When Sherman asked if Woods should be worried about anything in the book, however, Haney replied: \"Maybe. The truth is the truth. There are quite a few things in there that people will find as surprises. I just wrote a fair and honest book. I said all along this wasn\'t going to be a takedown book. People that know me know that\'s not what I would do.\"
