Luke Donald can\'t wait to get back to Wentworth with his
Mizuno MP-59 Iron Set
, the scene of his coronation as World No 1 seven months ago.
This when he defends his BMW PGA Championship title at storied Surrey golf club from May 24-27.
Donald will line up against many of the best players in the world in his bid to retain a title he claimed in thrilling circumstances last year, when he was forced to beat fellow Englishman and then-World No 1 Lee Westwood in a play-off after the two men had finished in a two-way tie for the lead at 6-under.
Donald has since spent 32 weeks atop the Official World Golf Rankings list and won both the The Race to Dubai and the US PGA Tour money list along the way to write some new

history.
It was the first time ever that anyone had held both the US and European Tour money-list titles in the same year.
On top of that, the 35 year old also claimed The European Tour Golfer of the Year Award, the US PGA Tour Player of the Year, the US PGA\'s Byron Nelson Award for best stroke average and the PGA of America Player of the Year.
Understandably, he is now eager to return to where his period of world domination began - and to do it just 40 minutes away from where he grew up in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

\"It was probably the highlight of my year,\" he told the European Tour this week
\"Going head to head with Lee, who was World Number One at the time, winning the flagship event of The European Tour, at Wentworth, and having family and friends watching as well was something special.
\"It was an amazing victory for me; just one step down from winning a Major.
\"There was a lot at stake. I don\'t think in the championship\'s history there have been too many times when not only are you fighting for the

, you\'re also fighting for the World Number One position.
\"I\'m looking forward to returning. I narrowly lost two years ago so to get the win last time out was great and I cannot wait to get back and defend the

title this year.\"
The championship has produced some top flight champions since Ken Bousfield won the inaugural tournament in 1955; champions like Seve Ballesteros (1991), Sir Nick Faldo (1978, 1980, 1981 and 1989) Bernhard Langer (1987, 1993 and 1995), Colin Montgomerie (1998, 1999 and 2000) Arnold Palmer (1975) and Ian Woosnam (1988 and 1997) all having inscribed their name on the famous trophy.
