Hmmm,

That seems very odd. Did you click the remember me button?

Also, as long as you go to http://www.netbookreviews.com/forum/ and login there you shouldn't have any issues.

Please advise thanks!

No, I don't keep cookies except for the session. I just signed in, wrote creative netbookery and for posting had to sign in again.

It may be the way I work or the way my computer is set up. If no one else experiences this, it's not an issue.

I'm sure that's why. If you clear cookies every time you would need to re log in each time.

The only time cookies are cleared on my computer is when FireFox is closed. That's not the issue.

I just wrote a post, checked up in the right corner and I was signed in but when I clicked on Submit Reply I had to sign in again.

That is so confusing to me. It has to be some sort of cookie setting in firefox.

I assume you've never even opened Internet Explorer before - try logging in there to see if you have the same problem...

I am pretty sure that it is a cookie issue with FireFox. I am using the latest version of FireFox. The browser stores my login information. I have only ever had to login twice: the first time I registered at home and the first time I replied to a post when I was at work. My work browser is FireFox as well and it is setup to store my login information (at least for these forums).

Default logging on

Good post. My cookie/browser setup is obviously different. I just had another double logging.

I accept all cookies - even third party cookies. However, I instruct the browser to delete them when I close the browser. In addition, I don't allow any cache whatsoever from the browser. I stay under the cookie limit for domains and sub-domains and don't write them to my hard drive.

I can't find where I allow re-direction. That may be a problem. I'm pretty sure netbookreviews.com is setting test cookies then when I get redirected they are gone.

I don't have Internet Explorer on my computer.

edit: I logged in at the top, switched tabs to browse other stuff for 30 minutes, went back to the Netbookreview tab, clicked on Netbook Review Forums and lost my logging in. Interesting. If nobody else is reporting this, it is obviously on my computer. Not really an issue with me. Loggin in just takes seconds.
