Asus 901 vs iPod Touch

I am really enjoying my Asus 901. It is a replacement for my 1G iPod Touch.

The 901 plays movies, pdf files and a wide variety of special purpose software. It displays my photos nicely for sharing and plays the music I like thanks to plug and play SD cards.

I find that it carries nicely in my briefcase and is a good size for taking out on trains, airplanes and even during waits at other locations.

Of course it has wi-fi/ethernet for connectivity, 2GB RAM for programs and access to a wide variety of faster storage upgrades not to mention external connections.

The Touch needs a camera and microphone to both take pictures and to use with a Skype type app over wifi. It needs GPS and maps. That would get me to upgrade from my 1G. Otherwise the iTunes health apps, movies and music work well for me. I can check my email and browse with the Touch.
