Default What is the difference between these models???

Hi everyone,

Maybe you can help me out -- I'm wondering what the difference is between the following Asus models:

Asus Eee PC 1015PEM - PU17 - BU

and

Asus Eee PC 1015PEM - MU17 - PI

I think I'm mostly curious as what "PU' and "MU" are. Are "BU" and "PI" just colors? One is blue and one is white.

Also, colors aside, which one is the better model?

Thanks for your help!!

The differences are quite clear and a 3 second Google search brought them up. The Blue model has a longer rated battery life and bluetooth 3.0 while the pink netbook has a shorter battery life and no bluetooth.

I can already tell you that no one here has those netboks models so you will have to decide which one looks and feels better to you. You will also have to decide if the 3 hour (rated) longer battery life is worth it (keep in mind that you will NEVER get 13 hours out of the blue netbook, that is just the advertised battery life) along with having bluetooth.

Thanks for your help...I guess I should have asked the question differently. I was trying to figure out what PU and MU each stand for. I did try to google it, it probably just wasn't as clear to me. Both models popped up under the same description on the website I was looking on...that is probably why I got confused. I wont be buying either one of these models but I do see axis models similiar to this all the time so I'm just trying to understand.

Eh, it doesn't really matter what they mean. It is just some model number hierarchy that is given to them by Asus. That is like asking what the .3.1 stands for in Android version 2.3.1, what the letters XY mean in Dell's XPS notebook model 12345678ABCDXYZ, or why the Sun always rises in the East. Most things like that have a specific meaning but it doesn't matter.
