Default Android problems

Hi. I've just got a D255e and as it's my first netbook I need some help with a a couple of little problems. 1. How do I get back to Android from Windows 7 without actually logging off and rebooting - there's no icon on my desktop or taskbar.
2. How do I log off or shut down from Android - again there's no visible means of shut down on the desktop.
Any help much appreciated

From the quick 3 second Google search that I conducted, the only way to get into Android is to reboot the netbook. You can't run Android from within Windows without installing a virtual machine. Otherwise, the only way to run it is to have the netbook boot into that OS. Android also doesn't really require proper shutdown procedures so hitting the power button on the netbook should cover that so you can boot back into Windows. Of course, this all should have been outlined in the instructions that came with your netbook. You can also go to Acer's website, punch in your model number, and view further instructions for getting up and going.

Default Acer Android D255E

Thank you for clearing that up. The Instructions that came with the machine give no guidance on either topic I'm afraid.

As I Searched and referred many articles and blogs on android operating system for net-books and desktops that you are correct that there is no other way to switch from Window7 to Android rather then rebooting/logging of.

We can run android operating system as live, by means of memory stick and any removable device. by installing in it.

Android is undoubtedly a fine operating system that consumers around the world are happy to use. But Google just hasn\'t done a good enough job of informing the public on the differences between the versions of its operating system. Sure, Android 2.3 might seem like a better option than Android 2.2 by virtue of the fact that it\'s newer, but what are the relative advantages of each version that\'s currently on the market? Those who follow Android closely know, but the average, mainstream user who simply buys a phone and wants a good operating system needs to be better informed.
