Pretty much all netbooks allow for the installation of Windows 7 and you can get them back to factory standards so long as you don't remove the restoration partition on their hard drives.

I have not had any experience with installing Windows 7 on an MSI netbook (I have not had any experience with an MSI netbook in general) but, just by judging from the specs, it looks like your U-100 can run Windows 7 just fine. You may want to check MSI's website to make sure that their software is Windows 7 compatible though (ie the software run within Windows).
