1)You should check the Acer website about compatibility...you will likely need to find/download some drivers. Before you install W7 you should have a list of drivers you may need...you'll be hating life if you install W7 and find that there is no network or wifi drivers.
2)You may want to visit a forum specific to Acer netbooks and see if others have done it and have feedback for you. There may even be a step-by-step guide.
