Dell Mini 10v review

Pros:
Only $299 base, Sleek design, Only 2.5 pounds
Cons:
Weak battery life
Bottom Line:
The best part about the Dell Mini 10v is the fact that you can step into the 10 inch netbook market with a base model for $299. The base model is also very light. However, the same issue that plagued the Dell Mini 10 also afflicts this model - you must pay for several upgrade options to make the Dell Mini 10 worth looking at. My recommendation is that if you do want the Dell Mini 10v, you should be buying it for the price and do not choose any of the upgrade options. If you feel compelled to pay to upgrade the netbook browse other netbook reviews first.
Quick Product Specs:

I have the mini 10V with windows 7. Upgraded the started to Home Prem. I like it for what it is made for surf the internet, check emails, read PDFs and ebooks. I found that the 3 cell battery is very weak and I find that 1 gig of ram while it works is not enough. I have purchased 2gigs of Ram and will be upgrading the memory as soon as I have time to really take my time to field strip the mini.
