Dell Mini 10 Review
Pros:
Sleek design, Only 2.86 pounds, Option for 1366x768 WLED
Cons:
Weak battery life, Slow 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 Processor, Poor Touchpad
Bottom Line:
The Dell Mini 10 is a lackluster netbook when compared to it's competitors that offer better performance for the same price. With a slow Intel Atom Z520 processor at 1.33 GHz, and weak battery life, I recommend you look at other netbook reviews before settling on the Mini 10. However, if you're willing to shell out the extra dough for the additional features like higher resolution screen, SSD and WWAN support you can end up with something fresh (albeit expensive) in the netbook arena. No real complaints. Got what I expected and does what I need.
Pros:
Slick looking with a nice design and feel.
Great feel to keyboard
Easy to use right outof the box, minimal bloatware.
Works great hooked up to my HD TV via HDMI.
Cons:
Max of 1gb memory
Battery life is not as good as advertised
F key design could have had more thought.
I have just bought one of these and apart from trackpad which is really bad it is a great machine.
I have dual booted it with Windows and Linux and it works great with both.
I have had the Mini 10 for a year. It was a slow when I got it and it has only gotten worse. (No it is not spyware or malware realted.) Dell’s only suggestion is to wipe it and reload everything. I am planning to sell it and buy something else.
