ASUS Eee PC 1018P Thin and Aluminum

The picture above is from the earlier post where we had leaked specs on some upcoming ASUS netbooks, but now that the news is official I thought it would be best to sum up the new ASUS Eee PC 1018P in a single post. This new netbook is exciting for several reasons:
1. The chassis is built with aluminum instead of plastic
2. It has the first fingerprint reader on a netbook
3. It is only .7 inches thick (still trying to confirm this)
4. It has built in 3G

Looks sexy.
Battery life seems odd though. You should be getting more than that from a 6 cell. Yet it seems like too much for a 3 cell.
