ASUS Eee PC 1016p Shipping on Amazon
It feels like ages since we first learned about the ASUS Eee PC 1016p, but now the wait is over as the latest from ASUS is now shipping from Amazon at a price of $531.29

This is the first new ASUS netbook to hit the market that is specifically targeting the business consumer and it's easy to tell based on the specs: 2 GB of DDR3 memory courtesy the new Intel Atom N455 processor, Windows 7 Pro OS, Bluetooth 3.0, 320 GB HDD and up to 10 hours of battery life. The only disappointment - and I sound like a broken record when I say this - is the lack of a 1366 x 768 higher resolution screen. I do like the inclusion of the matte screen though. Based on the specs this should be a solid competitor against the other business based netbooks on the market, but what do you think? Is it worth the $531.29 price tag?

Can be found on Newegg.com for $479 with free shipping. What I would like to know is where I can order the 13 hour battery version! I can’t find a model anywhere on the net with the “6-cell 63Wh Li-ion Battery Pack, 13hrs*”
