Just picked one up and found out that IT DOESN"T RUN Windows 7 due to Video issues. I had such a great experience with an Acer Aspire One netbook that I though I would upgrade to a slimmer netbook. But after bringing it home last night I found out that there are issues with it going to a black screen when poweing on OR hibernating...There are some clunky workarounds (Batch file OR possibly modified bios) that work for some..

I know it's not a "Supported OS" but it seems strange that Windows 7 runs well on so may netbooks but there are a handful of EEEs (1000HE, 902, 1008HA, perhaps others) that have this problem even though most of the hardware inside all the Atom netbooks is the same.

Anybody have a quick fix or idea if ASUS will address somenthing like this with a bios/driver update?

...Just so hard to go back to running XP after haveing such a good experience with Windows 7 on my Aspire One...
