Asus Eee PC 1008HA available on Amazon $409

Sorry for all of the Asus Eee PC 1008HA available on *insert online retailer* posts, but I know this is a highly anticipated netbook so I've been trying to keep everyone in the loop as to when your favorite online retailer has it in stores. Amazon is next up and has the netbook in both White and Black for $429 $409 with free shipping (updated).

The specs on the Asus Eee PC 1008HA are as follows:

1 GB RAM (upgradable to 2GB)

Update 10:23 AM: As I expected Amazon's price has dropped by $20 as well to $409. This discount applies only for pre-orders, so if you plan to buy this netbook I suggest you do it now.

I thought there would be a $20 discount on the pre-order like Amazon offered last time there was a promo on the Asus Eee PC 1000HE; however, so far it looks like that isn't the case. There is always time for them to update the price though. I'd probably still buy it from Amazon over any other because of my Amazon Prime membership. The free faster shipping speed on everything I buy is worth it to me.

In any case, I'm still contemplating whether I should buy the Asus Eee PC 1008HA or not. For those of you who know the answer to that question is a resounding yes - continue onto Amazon. I'll make a decision in the next day or two and be sure to let you know.
