Asus announces Eee PC E1004DN – Optical Drive Included!
Shortly after Asus announced the Eee PC 1002H, they announced another netbook: the Eee PC E1004DN.
While not all details have been announced yet we do know one very important feature - The E1004DN will be the first netbook to feature an optical disk drive. In fact, the disk drive aforementioned will be a tray loading DVD burner! Some believe this announcement to be a rumor; however, if this is indeed true the E1004DN will be going on my Amazon wish list immediately. The other great aspect of the netbook is it's inclusion of the Intel GN40 chipset which can render HD video with ease. These are two key features missing from my current netbook of choice the Asus Eee PC 1000HE.
