Acer Ferrari One Netbook on Pre-Order
It's been exactly 3 months since we first wrote about Acer's new Ferrari branded netbook but the wait is finally over. The Acer Ferrari One FO200-1799 is now available to pre-order at $599.99. I have always questioned the promotional pairing of auto makers and laptop makers to create branded netbooks and laptops. But then again, if I'm a big fan of these brands it's nice way to show it by sporting my netbook or laptop based on Transformers, Ducati and now Ferrari. In either case, we're left with a pricey but very nicely equipped netbook:

I haven't had a chance to test out a netbook using these specific specs but I'll be contacting Acer to try and demo this beast of a netbook for the Ferrari enthusiasts out there.

What do you think of automobile branded netbooks / notebooks? I bet that if Apple ever partnered up with an automobile maker to make a MacCar people would buy it lol. Or perhaps a MacBoat? Share your thoughts below or in the forum.

I don’t mind netbook / laptop makers combining together with car companies to make netbooks. In fact, wouldn’t it be sweet if Subaru partnered up with someone like Panasonic to make a toughbook branded Subaru that can withstand the elements etc? I think that’d be great!
Only if the netbook has all wheel drive!
